Because there is no excuse for complacency in our society that is in such need of change, WarriorRic is particularly energised by engaging the youth. They are open and eager to make a difference. Perhaps because even if we adults don’t care, the youth recognise that their future is at stake. A grandfather of two grandchildren and a father of four children, WarriorRic is very familiar with working with children of all ages.
Hero Camp, a summer camp for kids at Konka Soul Adventures Campsite, is scheduled for 5-8 December 2015. WarriorRic and Phil Keye, a teen coach in various facets of learning and development for the youth, including anti-bullying have joined forces to provide this much needed outlet for kids 8-17 years old. Hero Camp aims to get kids off the couch and into the great outdoors over a four-day period and engaged in obstacle course mud runs, like the Jeep Warrior Race, abseiling, kayaking, hikes, campfire songs and games especially geared for the younger children.
For more info contact Phil Keye on 076 050 4763 or Email Me or download the Hero Camp flyer.
