I was privileged to be part of the re-launch of the ESPN Africa channels promoting the broadcaster’s brand as the ‘Home of American Sports.’ I got to introduce ESPN to the stage to announce to local South African media exciting programming for Baseball, Basketball, Football and Boxing, along with some cool back stories from legends of sports. Following the formal proceedings, media and friends with their families, including children got to try their hand at the highlighted sports for fun and light competition while enjoying uniquely prepared snacks and refreshments.
Because of my involvement with SPAR and the End GBV campaign since 2019, I was invited by Cricket SA to deliver a keynote at the launch of their summer season. Lots more in store with Cricket SA for me as I await my schedule of appearances and activations with the organisation in 2023 to help fight against GBV.
